Meadow Out Of School Club (MOOSC)

What is Meadow Out Of School Club?

The Meadow Out of School Club (MOOSC) is situated in the mobile classroom on the KS1 playground. MOOSC provides a safe and secure environment for children aged 3-11 before and after school.

Whether you are a working parent/carer or just want your child to socialise with others, the club is open to all.

Opening hours:

We operate from 7.45 – 8.45am and 3.15 – 6pm during term time.

We also run some holiday clubs and professional days, (these will be advised via e-mail.)

Cereal is available until 8.15am (prompt) and a healthy snack is provided in the afternoon.

A typical afternoon:

KS1 children are collected from school at the end of the day by MOOSC staff, whilst KS2 children make their own way over to the mobile All children are signed in on the register and any absences are followed up by staff.

The children are provided with a healthy snack on arriving from school after which the children choose from a variety of resources, including arts and crafts, a quiet TV area, games, puzzles, outdoor play and a wide selection of toys.

We have a dedicated team of staff to look after and support the children who all have necessary legal DBS checks, first aid and child protection training.
