Meadow School Governing Body

Due to being unable to recruit a sufficient number of governors together with being unable to appoint a governor willing to serve as Chair, the Local Governing Body (LGB) unfortunately has had to be temporarily disbanded. The decision was not made lightly, but despite our best efforts we have not been able to meet the requirement to maintain a fully functioning LGB.

As a result, the usual governance arrangements have been suspended. The LGB has had responsibility for key areas such as school improvement, special educational needs (SEND), safeguarding and engagement with parents and the wider community. From 1 April 2026 these responsibilities transferred to the Anglian Learning Trust Board which will continue to oversee them through its Education Standards Committee.
